Donate your unused laptops, tablets, and phones. We refurbish them and place them — at no cost — with children and families across Plymouth County and the South Shore.
It's not for profit, it's friendly, it's good for the community.
In today's digital world, access to a working computer or tablet directly affects a student's ability to learn, a parent's ability to work, and a family's ability to stay connected to opportunity.
Tech for Tots is dedicated to giving technology a second life while making a lasting difference in our community. We collect donated devices, refurbish and upgrade them, and provide them at no cost to children and families who may not otherwise have access to essential technology.
Every refurbished computer or tablet provides a child with the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive — while also supporting families who rely on technology for education, employment, and communication.
Don't toss it. If it has a battery and a screen, there's a good chance we can give it a second life.
Windows, Mac, Linux, ChromeOS — any age. Even if the battery is shot or the OS is outdated, our techs can usually bring it back.
Towers, all-in-ones, and standalone monitors. Great for setting up a family workstation.
iPads, Android tablets, smartphones. Perfect for younger learners and seniors getting online for the first time.
Keyboards, mice, webcams, headsets, chargers, cables, and docks. Small parts make big differences.
Working printers, routers, switches, and modems help families set up a complete home setup.
Older gaming systems, e-readers, robotics kits, and STEAM learning devices for our youth programs.
Broken? Outdated? Not sure? Donate it anyway. Our youth IT trainees and technicians use repairable devices as hands-on learning material — so even devices we can't refurbish help train the next generation of techs. Anything we can't reuse is responsibly recycled.
Every donation follows the same chain of care, from secure intake to placement with the family who needs it.
Drop off at our Hanson location or at any community repair clinic. We log the device and give you a receipt.
Every device gets a secure, multi-pass data wipe. Your photos, files, and accounts are permanently erased before any other work begins.
Our technicians and youth trainees clean, repair, upgrade, and install fresh software. Hands-on training meets community impact.
The refurbished device is matched — at no cost — with a student, family, or senior in our community who needs it most.
Bring it by our Hanson location, or hand it to a tech at one of our community repair clinics.
Drop your device off at our headquarters in Hanson. Please contact us first to arrange a time — we want to make sure someone is there to receive your donation and give you a proper receipt.

If you don't see your question here, reach out — we're happy to help.
Every donated device receives a secure multi-pass data wipe before any refurbishment work begins. We follow industry-standard data sanitization practices to ensure photos, documents, browser history, accounts, and saved passwords are permanently erased and unrecoverable. If a device cannot be wiped (for example, a damaged drive), it is physically destroyed before recycling.
Yes — please donate it anyway. Broken devices are an essential part of our youth IT training program. Our trainees and technicians use them as hands-on learning material to develop real-world repair skills. Anything that genuinely can't be refurbished is responsibly recycled through certified e-waste partners — never sent to a landfill.
For larger donations (multiple devices, business decommissions, or anyone with mobility constraints), we can arrange pickup within Plymouth County and the South Shore. Contact us with details about what you're donating and we'll coordinate.
Please include the charger if you have it — it makes the device immediately usable for the recipient family. Cables, cases, original packaging, and accessories are all welcome but never required. We accept devices with or without their original peripherals.
Yes. Every donor receives a written acknowledgment listing the donated devices and the date of donation. Gavi Hand Enterprise, Inc. is a registered nonprofit, so donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. For valuation guidance, please consult your tax advisor — the IRS requires donors to determine the fair market value of non-cash donations.
That's fine — bring it as-is. Our techs can typically work around forgotten passwords on most devices during the wipe process. For Apple devices with iCloud Activation Lock, we'll need you to remove the device from your Apple ID account first; we'll walk you through it if needed.
Click the Donate a Device button below and fill out our short donation agreement. We'll log your device(s), send you a receipt, and either coordinate drop-off in Hanson or invite you to bring it to an upcoming community clinic.
Together, we can reduce e-waste, strengthen communities, and create brighter futures — one device at a time.
